South Boston Speedway 2008
 

South Boston was one of the tracks I really looked forward to getting back to. I knew last year we had a strong car and knew we as a team could build off of that and come back stronger.
 

Yet another day of rain...I believe this makes two soakers this year so far. Waiting around part of the time and trying to work through the rain made for a long day and soaked feet. Once we received the okay to hit the track we made several adjustments to the chassis looking to pick up more speed. Overall we weren't bad, but just needed a little something.
 

Committed and confident with our qualifying set-up we take our two laps and post a 7^{th place starting spot. The chassis itself handled great in traffic. I had a lot more speed rolling through the middle than anyone around me. With this in mind I really tried to be mindful and pace myself. We played yoyo around 6th place and 8th waiting to get within out go window.}
 

It was unfortunate after contact with one of my teammates on the front straightaway and getting finished off by another competitor, that we lost ground on the leaders. With damage we rallied back into the top ten coming to the white and got turned getting into turn 3. We finished the day out rolling across the finish line with heavy damage on every corner. Load up and go to the next one. Not what we had in mind but with the ongoing support and dedication our team has shown it won’t be long before we get the finish we deserve.
